Awhile back, I ordered a Paughco muffler from the Jireh catalog. I installed it on my LS650 and rode it for about 5 miles, and that was enough for me! I reinstalled the stock "propane tank" the next day!
If you like 'em loud, then this is the pipe for you!It's probably equivalent to the Jardine, but at a lot less money! It's 22" long, 2.5" in diameter, has a slight taper toward the exit, has a universal slotted mounting bracket with a bolt that lines up nice with the Savage muffler hanger, and has a nice chrome finish! You'll have to build up your header diameter for a snug fit. I used a few wraps of 2" wide aluminum tape and a clamp. No leaks! It weighs 8 pounds less than the stock muffler. It has internal baffles, but it's still a loud mutha!
